Your privacy matters. Nieven is designed with a privacy-first approach. We collect minimal data and never sell your information.
What We Collect
Conversation Data: Your chat messages are processed to generate responses. For the MVP version, conversations are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not transmitted to our servers for storage.
Technical Data: Basic analytics may be collected (page views, general usage patterns) to improve the service. This data is anonymized and aggregated.
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your data
- We don't use your conversations to train AI models
- We don't share personal information with third parties for marketing
- We don't require account creation or personal identification
AI Processing
Your messages are processed by AI systems (currently Claude by Anthropic) to generate responses. These messages are subject to the AI provider's data handling policies. We minimize data retention and don't store conversation content long-term.
Your Control
- Clear your chat: Use the "New chat" button to delete your local conversation history
- Browser storage: Clear your browser's localStorage to remove all Nieven data
- No account: We don't require registration, so there's no account data to manage
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. The service is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which provides additional security protections.
